Would you recommend this book to a friend? Yes
My review of this book: The Cay is a great book. I would highly recommend it to teachers because it teaches a bit of history and there is a moral to the story. I like the description and how the author made me feel sad when Timothy died. Maybe it's just me, but I think the author could have taken a couple more compositional risks. All in all, The Cay is a great book.
