My review of this book: In the beginning it shows a snowshoe hare getting attacked by a great horned owl. After that it tells about a family of deer in the snow. Next about a woodpecker getting carpenter ants. Then it shows the boy and his father looking at it. Soon they get a tree, then bring it back.
