Book Summary: The book is about a a boy, Eragon who lives in Alagaisia, which is ruled by the cruel king Galbotorix. Before Galbotorix, the land was ruled by the Riders, a group of lawkeeping men and elves atop dragons. But Galbotorix betrayed the Riders and destroyed them. Only 3 dragon eggs remained. One egg was stolen by rebels, the Varden. Because of a misfortune, the egg was teleported to Carvahall, where Eragon lives. Eragon to the egg and thought that it might buy him some meat for the winter. When the dragon hatches, Eragon doesn't know what to do with it. He keeps it secret. But when the Empire's servants kill his adoptive father, Eragon makes a vow to kill the servants. In this book and the sequel, Eldest, you will be transported into a world full of magic.
