Beside museum passes for the Guggenheim, the Friends of the Library have purchased passes for The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, the Grounds for Sculpture, Macculloch Hall Historical Museum, and The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms. The passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis -- they cannot be put on hold -- and are good for three days. Call the Library for more details.
The Friends of the Washington Township Public Library (the “Friends”) is a non-profit organization devoted to bringing the community and the library together, encouraging the use of the library, and to support the library in developing its facilities.
The Friends hold an Annual Spring Book Sale and participate in other fundraising projects that help to fund quality programs and services beyond those provided by the library’s annual budget.
This past year the Friends have purchased Museum Passes for circulation to Washington Township residents. They have also purchased videogames for the Youth Services Department. The Friends sponsored both a spring and holiday program and luncheon for the public as well as purchased prizes for the Adult, Teen, and Children's Summer Reading Clubs.
With your help, the Friends can continue to provide the support that connects you with your community.
How can I get involved?
