My review of this book: Most people wouldn't want to read this because it's a manga. The only reason i gave it a four was because it got two for the great drawing, and, although the plot's awesome, the book is so short and cut off to the next in the series, and can't be called much.

This book is made up of Abby's journal entries, so I like the way it was written. I didn't really like the story though, because it had a disappointing ending to it! I rated it a 4 because it has a good base story, but the ending is very disappointing and that kind of ruined the book a little! TTYL by Lauren Myracle

Genre: realistic fiction
Book Summary: TTYL is the story of 3 best friends - Maddie, Angela, and Zoe - and their friendship. The story revolves around their instant messages to each other. The IM chats tell the tale of what the 3 girls encountered in their teenage life, ranging from boys to flirty teachers to befriending the queen bee. When drama breaks one of the girls off, the two left try to connect her back before she\'s gone for good. Will the \"Winsome Threesome\" ever be again?
Rank (0-5): {___}
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Yes
My review of this book: I really liked this book, because I could relate to the things that happened in this story. I also thought the IM format of this was really interesting, rather than just straight third person format. In this book, we are viewing each girl\'s perspective, and I like that. Also, the great detail in this story, though it\'s just IMs, is amazing, since usually we have to be at the scene to know what we are talking about. Though, I didn\'t like the excessive chatspeak in the book. Not all people use all chatspeak, some actually type it out. I also thought it would be cooler if she gave each character their own typing style, because sometimes you can tell people\'s personality by the way they type. Overall, I think this was a great book. :)
