Review: I would recommend this book to teen girls who would like to learn great life lessons about school, social life, family and everything in between. This book helps girls really connect with the characters and their personal lives, for it really does sound like these characters do exist. I chose to rank this book a 4 because it was very well written and an original book that the reader can really appreciate. It has a lot of drama, humor, sadness and a life of a teen. The reason it's a 4 is because the author never gave it a clear ending... as if there should be a sequel.

Review: I would recommend this book to people who like magic with a little mystery added in. It would also be great for Twilight fans because it has a similar topic and a similar plot involving magic. This book is a 4 because even though it is a very interesting plot with many surprising twists, Alyson Noel seemed to take heavy inspiration from Stephanie Meyer's Twilight. If it was more original, I would have ranked it higher.
